Laboratorios Bagó has been accompanying the work performed by FUNDACIÓN DEBRA ARGENTINA POR LA EPIDERMOLISIS BULLOSA (DEBRA ARGENTINA FOUNDATION FOR EPIDERMOLISYS BULLOSA (EB), through a bi-monthly donation of the Bagóvit line creams which help to keep the skin of patients hydrated, together with specific medicinal products used to treat and prevent the lesions that may be caused by this disease.
Epidermolisis Bullosa is a group of rare genetic disorders characterized by fragility of the skin. When there is an error in any of the genes causing the disease, the proteins resulting therefrom will be either absent or will not function well, and thus, the various layers of the skin may not be adequately attached. Signs and symptoms depend on the type of EB, but the principal sign of all forms is the presence of blisters and erosions.
The main purpose of FUNDACIÓN DEBRA is to provide medical care and the necessary supplies to handle complications so as to deliver the patient and its family, the necessary tools to achieve the best possible quality of life.
