29 Jul Waste management and responsible paper consumption
Both at our three manufacturing plants and at our administrative headquarters, we are undergoing a waste reduction and responsible paper use process. At our plants (La Plata, City Bell and La Rioja) waste sorting is performed with the aim of reducing waste through selection and minimization practices implemented in the working areas. During this period, there was a 29% increase of recycled waste, with adequate disposal of each waste type.
During the last years, we have implemented in the administrative Headquarters, segregation at source of wet and dry waste, and we have increased paper recycling by placing paper containers of the Garrahan Foundation.
Currently, our company is adopting the Zero Paper philosophy, through which we are reducing the use of any type of paper, thus making a qualitative leap in the consumption of this resource. Through the migration to the cloud, optimization of management processes and digitalization of important documents, we have achieved significant paper reduction, with a positive impact, not only on the enhancement of company processes but also on environmental care.
